Mission

Students Helping Students NJ is a program that aims to increase higher education attainment fostering solidarity and engagement among the members of New Jersey’s high schools, students of Bergen Community College and other universities, and their communities. We believe that education is a lifelong journey that goes beyond academic titles.

General Information

We will share on our Facebook page and present at NJ Schools, colleges and universities information pertaining to the college application process, scholarships for documented and undocumented students, financial aid advisement (Pell Grant, Government loans vs Private Loans, filing FAFSA-Free Application for Federal Student Aid), etc. Furthermore, we will share webinars and other resources to guide students to enhance their professional and academic skills using technology.
Seniors going to Bergen Community College should contact us after graduation, and sign up for our “BCC Bridging Program.” The benefits to you are many: we can help you procure cheap and free textbooks to save you money, guide you through registration, give financial aid advisement, etc. These services are free because our mission is to help each other.
